Château la Bastide Corbières 2022 - Languedoc-Roussillon, France

This estate brings back strong memories for Founder Robert, his first ever visit to a wine estate after joining the trade was to Château la Bastide. We love wines from Corbieres and this is a luscious red blend of 60% Syrah, 20% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre. In the glass this reveals dark berry and plum notes, intertwined with subtle hints of cedar, dark chocolate and vanilla. Rich powerful and smooth with good balance. Exquisite complexity. Perfect with red meat stews.
