Château Siran 'S de Siran' 2019 - Bordeaux, France

The Siran Estate has remained in the hands of the Miailhe family for six generations and S, the second wine from them is a gem of a bottle. Coming from the same gravel plateau as Château Siran, S is the result of a rigorous selection of the younger vines. Vinified in the same way, it's distinguished by a predominantly Merlot blend, allowing it to be enjoyed without the long ageing the main wine requires. A nose and palate of dark berries and fruit, while earthy, cigar box and tobacco and spices imparted from 12 months aging in new French oak barrels. Merlot 46%, Cabernet Sauvignon 44%, Petit Verdot 9% and Cabernet Franc 1%.
