J. Boutin "Parcelle de Jean" Saint Joseph 2019 - Rhône Valley, France

J. Boutin's Parcelle De Jean is produced from a small family-owned, organically-farmed parcel in Saint-Joseph of the Rhône Valley wine region. The wine is aged in both tank and large oak barrels, making a dry, full-bodied wine which shows aromas of dark cherry, menthol, dark plum, cracked pepper spice and stony, flinty mineral flavours concentrated and fresh on the palate. Tannins are elegant and dusty right through the long finish.
